He has also worked for Ernst &Young Botswana, BDO Botswana and Deloitte &Touché Zambia. Simon has also worked as a Tax Director for Tax Management Services and Grant Thornton in Zimbabwe. He is a holder of a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Member of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), Member of the Public Accountant and Auditors Board (PAAB), Member of the Public Accountants & Auditors Board (Tax Committee), Fellow of the Institute of Certified Tax Administrators in Zimbabwe (FICTA), Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries (ACIS), and Member of Zambia Institute of Certified Accountants (ZICA).
